Meet Rebecca

This is vulnerable for her. In being open about it highlights how those of us with Hypermobility and EDS can suffer, while looking healthy and being resilient!

Rebecca Mass-Krajewski (pronounced Moss-Cry-F-Ski) (she/her) ARNP-BC is a Hypermobility & Ehlers Danlos expert. She acquired specific knowledge because there was no one to guide her on her own journey. She is a "professional patient" with Hypermobile EDS, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia, and Ankylosing Spondylitis.

She is an ARNP-BC which means "Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (who is) Board Certified." She is not a MD, DO, or ND, nor does she imply she is. She went on to study Functional Medicine because standard medicine was lacking for invisible and chronic illness. The goal of Functional Medicine is to get at the root cause, and this is critically important with chronic illness.

Insurance will ask why out‐of‐network coverage should be considered. “To our knowledge, there is no
qualified provider for this patient's medically necessary services in their health insurance network. This is a
deficiency of their network.” This means insurance has a degree of obligation to consider reimbursement
for out‐of‐network provider cost..
